Nursery Operations Manager



This is fantastic opportunity to join a small but growing organisation. <br>This role is a strategic role which requires the individual to be proactive and forward thinking, you will be contributing to the overall progression of the company. You will be responsible for overseeing the business and childcare management of a portfolio of nurseries, ensuring commercial success in line with the company’s vision and values. Driving the Nursery Managers in delivering a quality childcare service which is compliant with the OFSTED standards, meets customer’s expectations and maximizes opportunities to attract potential customers.<br>The Operations Director must provide strong leadership skills so that all are clear about what is expected of them and to create a momentum to realise the goals and targets for the portfolio.<br>The successful candidate will be responsible for:<br>Leading and managing a diverse staff team <br>Customer services - Customer relations & satisfaction, customer attraction and retention <br>Business management – To ensure all nurseries within your portfolio achieve financial targets, manage operating costs and ensure viability and profitability <br>The successful person for the role will have the following qualifications and experience:<br>The job holder must be experienced to effectively manage the financial and commercial aspects of a multi site business. <br>Must have relevant management experience in a customer related business and a sound knowledge of the national standards for day care. The job holder will also be required to have a sound knowledge of the children’s act. <br>the job holder must be PC literate <br>Must have a clean driving license as the job holder will be operating in a mobile environment. <br>The job holder must have strong management and leadership skills and the ability to prioritise a demanding workload in a dynamic and growing business.<br>Good financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets across a multi site business <br>Good numerical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse monthly management information including sales and occupancy targets <br>Must have people management experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills. <br>Judgement Skills<br>High degree of problem solving <br>Analytical approach <br>Has accountability for dealing with escalated issues <br>Must be able to analyse management information and identify key trends, issues <br>You will work within overall business objectives, procedures, and legal framework but will have a high degree of autonomy on how these are implemented and managed within their portfolio. They will be responsible for driving results and managing costs within their region and responsibility for implementation of AOP for region.<br>Excellent rates of pay, bonuses and benefits with ongoing support and career development.
