Group Accountant



Our client is an Entertainment/Leisure company who are looking for a Group Accountant to join their team.



Purpose:

- To meet the Group's reporting requirements.

- To communicate results the the board internally and shareholders externally



DUTIES:

- Monthly management accounts process, monthly flash reporting, monthly journals

- Year end and interims, review and challenge submissions, annual report and accounts, on going liason with auditors

- Full accounting/general ledger responsibility, Upload monthly data from Group Treasury system, Intercompany reconciliation, balance sheet, hyperion returns



CANDIDATE:

- Qualified accountant, perhaps first move from practise

- Excellent communicator and interpersonal skills – both written & verbal

- Flexible and open to new ideas

- Team Player with the ability to be able to work on their own initiative

- Experience in a similar role

- Strong excel skills

- Proven ability to analyse and evaluate data

- Excellent organisational & time management skills with the ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines
