Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor/QS – New Build Projects



A Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor is required to join a National Construction Consultancy based in the Hertfordshire area



Remuneration for the Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor/QS:

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum plus benefits

The client:

My client is an established construction consultancy based in Hertfordshire, they provide services such as quantity surveying, project management, engineering services and management consultancy.



They work primarily in the construction sector and have covered projects in the sports / leisure, health / education retail and commercial properties including business parks.



The job:

As the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor/QS/Quantity Surveyor you will take control of a number of construction/building projects based in and around the Hertfordshire area. Projects include the New Build of an office valued at £5million as well as a refurbishment of a sports pavilion valued at £1million



My client also has a number of frameworks with blue chip clients which involve the roll out of new and refurbished high profile retail stores valued from £100,000 - £1.5million



You will be mainly involved in the JCT, NEC and partnering forms of contracts, so previous experience in these is essential



Requirements for the Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor/QS:

Ideally 8+ years Quantity Surveying/Senior Quantity Surveyor experience here in the UK

Consultancy or PQS background

Construction/building project experience including new build and refurbishment

Knowledge and practical use of the JCT, NEC and PPC200 forms of contracts is mandatory
